Add Grams Left to your home screen for quick access — no app store needed.
- Open this page in Safari
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Add in the top-right corner
Grams Left will appear on your home screen like any other app.
- Open this page in Chrome
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right
- Tap Install app or Add to Home Screen
- Follow the on-screen prompt
If the install prompt is missing, wait a moment — Chrome checks for the PWA manifest on first visit.
- Open Grams Left in Chrome, Edge or Safari
- Click Install app in the app menu, or use the browser install icon
- In Safari on Mac, use Add to Dock if it is available
- Open Grams Left from your dock, desktop, or app launcher
Installed browser apps still use the same secure Grams Left account.
Set up your stock and quick-log amounts
Grams Left works best when the starting stock and quick-log defaults are close to your real routine. The app estimates stock; it is not a medical dosing tool.
1. Enter what arrived
Medical flower is commonly supplied in labelled packs, often 10g. When a pack arrives, add the strain or product and enter the labelled grams straight away.
2. Calibrate each method
If you have scales, pack one normal capsule, chamber, bowl, or rolled amount for each method, weigh it before use, and put that gram value into Settings as the method default.
3. Adjust when reality differs
If your tracker runs out before the pack does, your quick-log default is probably too high. If the pack runs out first, it is probably too low. Update the default and keep going.
Rough vaporiser capacity guide
Use this only when you cannot weigh your own prepared amount. Grind, moisture, packing style, and device setup all change the real grams.

Frequently asked questions
Is Grams Left free?
Yes. The core tracker — stock balance, consumption logging, burn rate, charts, and prescription countdown — is free forever. No card required.
What does Grams Left Plus give me?
Plus (£2/month or £20/year) adds per-strain tracking, strain analytics, batch inventory, patient stats (6 visualisations), backfill logging, and a searchable strain database.
Is my data private?
Yes. Grams Left needs the tracker records you enter to calculate your stock and usage, keep your account working, and support essential security or service functions. Those records stay private to your account and are not sent to analytics. We do not sell them, broker them, use them for ad targeting, or share them with clinics, pharmacies, advertisers, insurers, employers or data brokers. Optional analytics is only broad product usage after consent; it does not include strain names, dose amounts, prescriptions or notes. You can export your data or delete it from the active app in Settings.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can download all your dose data and settings as JSON or CSV from Settings → Data export. Your data, your control.
Can I install it like a normal app?
Yes. Use Install app from the dashboard or Settings. Chrome and Android can show a native install prompt. On iPhone or iPad, open Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Install Grams Left to your home screen and you can log doses without an internet connection. Your data syncs automatically when you are back online.
How do I know what amount to put for a method?
The defaults are only a rough guide. If you have scales, prepare one normal use of that method, weigh it, and use that gram amount as the default. If you do not have scales, start with the rough guide above and adjust later when your real stock tells you the estimate is too high or too low.
What is the difference between Prescription mode and Personal mode?
Prescription mode uses clinical wording (dose, allowance, dosage). Personal mode uses casual wording (session, stash, budget). Your choice — you can switch anytime in Settings.
How do I cancel my Plus subscription?
Go to Settings → Billing and choose Cancel trial/renewal. If you cancel before the 60-day trial ends, Stripe will not charge you when the trial ends. You can also use Manage subscription to open the Stripe billing portal, or contact support@gramsleft.com if you need help.
